Home/Compare/All-in-one platforms

Every vendor sells part of the stack. Privatis is the whole of it.

We compared ten platforms that sell themselves as all-in-one private markets software across the thirteen areas a GP has to cover, from the first deal meeting to the K-1. None covers all thirteen as software you run on a single ledger. Privatis does.

The landscape

Every all-in-one started as one thing.

Each vendor built one layer well, then added the rest by building or buying. The suite stops where that original layer stops, which is usually where your team starts re-keying.

01

Front-office CRMs

Intapp DealCloud, Altvia, Affinity

Relationships, deal flow and fundraising pipelines.

Where the suite stops

At the signed commitment. No general ledger, no capital accounts, no fund economics — the deal and the LP are re-keyed into somebody else's system.

02

Back-office suites and administrators

Allvue, FIS, BlackRock eFront, SS&C

Fund accounting, partnership allocations and operations at scale.

Where the suite stops

At the front door and the filing. Deal rooms, issuer cap tables and tax returns live elsewhere — or arrive as a service ticket rather than software your team runs.

03

Investor-experience platforms

Juniper Square, Carta, Anduin

The LP portal, subscriptions and the fundraising experience.

Where the suite stops

At the portfolio. Valuation modeling, deal pipelines and credit monitoring are thin, outsourced or newly acquired — and the books are often kept by the vendor's own admin team.

04

Point solutions

73 Strings, Chronograph, iLEVEL

One job done deeply: valuations, monitoring, data collection.

Where the suite stops

At their edge, by design. The mark they produce still has to be carried into a GL, a capital account and an LP statement that someone else maintains.

Thirteen areas · eleven platforms

One row is filled in all the way across.

Only native software counts toward a platform's total. Outsourced services and partial coverage are shown but not counted. Reviewed October 2026 from each vendor's public materials.

The closest contenders

Good at what they started with.

These are serious products, and several had a busy 2026. What each one does well is real. So is the point where its suite stops.

Carta

9/13 native

2026: bought ListAlpha (deal & LP CRM) and Avantia (Carta Law); launched fund-of-funds and Claude plugins.

Strong at

The broadest offering after Privatis. Cap tables are its core, and fund admin, ASC 820 valuations and an LP portal sit on top.

Where it stops

The CRM arrived by acquisition in 2026. Partnership tax is a service from Carta's own team, and we found no regulatory filings or private-credit monitoring. It was built for venture and emerging managers.

Privatis vs Carta

Allvue Systems

7/13 native

2026: launched OneVue with an AI assistant and agentic covenant extraction. Vista is reported to be exploring a sale.

Strong at

Fund accounting, investor portal and portfolio monitoring, plus one of the strongest private-credit offerings.

Where it stops

The deal CRM is credit-led. We found no data rooms, issuer cap tables or partnership tax, and couldn't confirm valuation modeling that produces the mark.

Privatis vs Allvue

SS&C

6/13 native

Calls itself the largest PE administrator, with about $845B under administration. Intralinks, Geneva and Precision LM sit under one logo.

Strong at

Scale and process maturity. Intralinks is the best-known deal data room, and the administration team will run your back office.

Where it stops

These are separately acquired products, not one data model. Waterfalls, regulatory filings and K-1s come as services.

Privatis vs SS&C

Dynamo Software

6/13 native

2025: v3.0 with DynamoAI. 2026: bought InvestHub for subscriptions and KYC.

Strong at

CRM, investor relations, LP portal and monitoring in one product, used by LPs as well as GPs.

Where it stops

Lighter on waterfall and valuation depth. We found no regulatory filings, partnership tax, data rooms or cap tables.

Privatis vs Dynamo

BlackRock eFront

5/13 native

2026: Preqin data folded into eFront on Aladdin; eFront Copilot in private preview.

Strong at

Institutional breadth: accounting, monitoring, investor portal and Preqin data, with a strong AIFMD footprint in Europe.

Where it stops

Built for the largest GPs and allocators. We found no data rooms, K-1s or issuer cap tables.

Privatis vs eFront

Juniper Square

4/13 native

2025: $130M Series D. 2026: an AI CRM, plus a headless fund OS exposed to AI tools over MCP.

Strong at

Its LP portal and fundraising experience set the standard. Data rooms and an AI assistant are built in.

Where it stops

No deal-sourcing CRM, valuation modeling or portfolio monitoring. Fund accounting comes as a hybrid service, with Juniper's staff working in your instance.

Privatis vs Juniper Square
Why coverage isn't the point

Thirteen modules on one ledger is a different product.

A suite assembled from acquisitions connects its products with integrations. Privatis has one general ledger that every module posts to and reads from. Here is what that makes possible.

01

A signed commitment becomes a capital account

The LP CRM, the subscription documents and the general ledger are the same record, so nothing is re-keyed between fundraising and the books.

02

An approved mark posts to the GL

DCF, comps, LBO and option-pricing backsolves reconcile to one fair value. Approving it posts the journal entry that moves NAV, the Level 3 rollforward and every LP capital account.

03

Carry is computed from the books it's paid from

European, American and hybrid waterfalls, with catch-up and quarterly accrual, read the same capital and the same LPA terms the fee engine uses.

04

The K-1 ties to the financial statements

The 1065, K-1s and K-2/K-3s come from the same 704(b) capital as the GAAP statements and LP capital accounts. There's no hand-off to a separate tax file.

05

Filings start from the fund's own data

Form ADV, Form PF, FATCA, CRS and FBAR are produced as filing-ready exports from live holdings and capital, not re-keyed into a consultant's template.

06

The data room follows the deal into the portfolio

The target you diligenced becomes the portfolio company on the same record: data room, cap structure, KPIs, covenants and valuation history together.

07

AI that can read everything and change nothing on its own

AlphaBot works across deals, funds, credit and LP data, inside your information walls. Every change it suggests is a proposal that a person approves.

Before you sign an all-in-one

Five questions for any vendor, including us.

01

“Is your GL the same record as your LP portal?”

Or is the portal refreshed from an export once statements are final?

02

“Which of these modules did you build, and which did you buy?”

Acquired products tend to keep their own data models. Ask what reconciles them.

03

“Is it software my team runs, or a service your team runs?”

Hybrid administration can be the right choice, but you should know who is posting the entries.

04

“When a mark changes, what else changes automatically?”

NAV, the Level 3 rollforward, carry accrual and every LP capital account should move with it.

05

“Where do my K-1s and Form PF come from?”

The ledger, or a separate file that someone rebuilds every year?

How we compared

We reviewed each vendor's public product pages, press releases and trade coverage as of October 2026. A capability counts as native when the vendor sells it as software the GP's own team runs. Capabilities delivered by the vendor's services team, through a partner, or only in part are marked as such and not counted. Where we couldn't confirm a capability from public materials, the cell is blank. Vendors move quickly: if something here is out of date, tell us and we'll correct it.

Privatis is software your team operates, and your administrator, auditor and counsel stay essential. Regulatory and tax outputs are produced as filing-ready exports for your filer of record to submit.

All product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their use here is for identification and comparison only and doesn't imply endorsement.
